Hello Guys welcome back to Life in the shoes of a short girl. I hope you guys are doing well.

This year is my last year of undergraduate studies. Yipeeeeeee! This such an emotional moment for me just thinking of where I came from. It was such an exciting, difficult and amazing journey. I will go into detail about my university experience at the end of the year. For now I am here to share with you guys my experience at my last Kellogg dinner gala. So this event is an annual dinner held by our bursary. This time we went to VINEYARD HOTEL in Cape town.  So here I will start with the food: 

The food 
As you know food is my favourate part of any event 😁 so we kick started the night with a nice appetiser/starter which was so nice 
west coast mussel and cape fish bouillabaisse, spekboom rouille, rosemarry askoek 
Hahahaha this sounds fancy huh! The main meal was nice as well, we had.However, being the food lover I am I found the food portion to be very small lol.  My favourate part was the dessert. Let me say nomore, the pictures says it all.

black cherry creme brulee, mini cherry macaroon, red velvet crumble, lemon ice cream

I honestly chose this outfit a few minutes after my shower. I was so confused of what to wear thats when I thought of my shorts I have not won in almost a year's time. Here are more pictures:

Accessibility of the place 
You all know this is my favourate part of reviewing accessibility of the places I visit. I did not walk around the place that much but the few places I got to go the hotel is pretty much accessible to everyone. They have wide doors (for wheelchair users) and lower handles which makes it easier to go in and out of the rooms.

6 Business lessons I have learnt in the past 2 years

Since i started my life coaching business there are things I have learnt and I want someone else to get a lesson or two. 1. Ideas do not come fully formed Don't wait till you have all the information, resources etc. All you need is your idea and everything will take shape. Start where you are with what you have. Ideas will come as you grow and gain experience. Entepreneuship is a journey. Do it afraid. Most people are hold back by fear but do it afraid anyway. When i started as a life coach i was a jack of all trades but as i grew in the business i found my niche and now i am a confidence coach. Even my logo was just basic but now its more colorful and meaningful to my goals and vision. #justdoit 2. You will think of quitting so many times  They say start a business its worth it, i am yet to see the worth it part lol. When you start your business, you have so much energy and passion to serve. ZIWA Award 2016

My heart is filled with gratitude and happiness as  I write this blog. I cannot even start to explain how happy I am but all I know is I am smiling throughout this blog. I am really excited to announce that I was awarded the courage award of 2016. WOW!! As soon as I received the email I rushed to check what is a courageous person. Lol! Yes,  I did because I could not believe myself. When I checked the definition, I realized that I am also in a process of knowing myself better. Some of the things that I take for granted and think it is just my everyday routine, it really inspires someone else out there and people see my courage in it.
