6 Business lessons I have learnt in the past 2 years

Since i started my life coaching business there are things I have learnt and I want someone else to get a lesson or two.

1. Ideas do not come fully formed
Don't wait till you have all the information, resources etc. All you need is your idea and everything will take shape. Start where you are with what you have. Ideas will come as you grow and gain experience. Entepreneuship is a journey. Do it afraid. Most people are hold back by fear but do it afraid anyway. When i started as a life coach i was a jack of all trades but as i grew in the business i found my niche and now i am a confidence coach. Even my logo was just basic but now its more colorful and meaningful to my goals and vision. #justdoit

2. You will think of quitting so many times 
They say start a business its worth it, i am yet to see the worth it part lol. When you start your business, you have so much energy and passion to serve. You feel like you will change the world but hunnay! reality will humble you. The world is busy listening to everyone else's story, so when you dont get the attention you expect, it really demotivates and crushes you. And you feel useless, demotivated and disappointed. Always remember its okay to think of quitting but its not okay to quit. Hang in there, it is worth it.

3. You will hear a lot of Nos than Yes(es)
Not everyone is going to understand your vision and that is completely okay. It should not exstinguish your fire. Keep it burning they will get it. Sometime the No is what you need to hear to move you to the next level. The most people you expect to get support you will disappoint and discourage you. Keep pushing. Let your results speak for you 

4. Protect your name
When you start a business you are desperate to grow and sometimes you lack the wisdom to see who is genuine or not. Personally I have made some mistakes of bringing some people who are just deadweights and can tanish  my image. Always your idea and name jealously its your treasure. Dont get involved in things you dont understand. Protect your name thats all you have. 

5. Remember it is your business
I had people who promised to help me but left me along the way. At first i was affected but later on i told myself that this is my vision i should keep pressing on. Take your lead. You are the vision bearer 

6. Get a mentor or coach
There is always someone who started before you. Utilise those people. You might have the vision but you have never walked the path. Get mentorship.

Stay confident.

The Healing Power of Opening up your Feelings and Thoughts

In my life i have experienced pain and hurt but not the way i felt recently when I lost my brother. I felt so hopeless, angry, sad and questioned a lot about life. I even doubted my faith. I could not understand why God would take someone so innocent and who was the anchor of the family.
